Our initial focus is Kenya, Rwanda and Ghana, where we have local partners, legal structures and property management in place. Pilot projects include a residential neighborhood in Homa Bay, student housing in Accra, and a boutique coastal hotel in Zanzibar. We expand to new markets only when we have vetted local operators.

You do not need to live in Africa. Abiero is built for the global diaspora and international investors, so you can invest from wherever you are, subject to the identity checks and local rules that apply to you. Availability can vary by country, and we confirm eligibility during onboarding.

What kind of returns can I expect, and how often are they paid out?

Each project publishes its own projected returns, typically combining rental income with long-term appreciation. Income distributions are targeted quarterly and paid into your Abiero account, from where you can withdraw or reinvest. Projections are estimates, not guarantees.

Our aim is to keep access open to everyday investors, not only accredited ones. Some structures or jurisdictions do carry accreditation or suitability requirements, and we tell you clearly at signup which opportunities you qualify for.

Is my investment secure? How is it regulated?

Every property sits inside its own legal entity, with title and ownership documented locally, and investor funds move through regulated banking and escrow partners. Abiero operates under the financial and real estate regulations of each market we work in. Regulation reduces certain risks, but it does not remove investment risk.

It means your stake is recorded as a digital ownership record rather than a paper certificate. Practically, that gives you a clear, verifiable record of what you own, faster and more transparent reporting and distributions, and the ability to transfer your stake more easily when secondary transfers are available.

How do I access or withdraw my money?

Quarterly distributions land in your Abiero account and can be withdrawn to your bank, usually within a few business days. Your underlying stake is a longer-term holding: you can exit when the project reaches its exit horizon, or earlier through a transfer to another investor where a secondary option exists.

Real estate can lose value. Construction can run late or over budget, tenants can default, currency movements can reduce dollar returns, and your investment is not liquid like a public stock.
